Truck & Tap in Downtown Woodstock

I love a good food truck and I love a good craft beer. So when I heard about Truck & Tap opening in Downtown Woodstock, I knew I had to try it out. I had envisioned a mini-version of the Atlanta Food Truck Park on the edge of the charming downtown area, but it turned out to be nestled between two other shops on Main Street. The front and back exteriors have large rollup windows to give an outdoor feel to the indoor portion of the restaurant. Read more

Who says that the sequel isn’t ever as good as the original? In the case of Truck & Tap, my second (and third, and fourth, etc.) visit proved just as irresistible as the first. The thing about this establishment is that on any given day, it’s going to offer up something different than the day before. Woodstock’s Truck & Tap is an amazing new concept pairing the ultimate selection of craft beers (many of them local) with rotating food trucks throughout the week. On any given day, there’s certainly something for everyone. There’s picnic-style seating outdoors as well as a cool neighborhood pub- vibe indoors. They also feature three big screen TV’s if you’d like to grab a brew (or two) with friends and catch the latest sporting event. The location is also family-friendly, located just across from the Elm Street Green if you’d like to hit the food truck and spread a blanket in the park. Read more

Truck & Tap

Truck & Tap is Downtown Woodstock’s newest restaurant. With a rotating selection of food trucks, the best craft beer and wine from around the globe, and hand-mixed cane sugar sodas, we can’t wait to try this place out!

Owner of Barrel and Barley Craft Beer Market Zach Yurchuck is also the operating partner at Truck & Tap in Woodstock. Truck & Tap features 12 rotating draught lines for craft beer as well as bottled domestic beers. Plus, a selection of unique wines and concoctions made with non-distilled ingredients (no liquor). The kitchen will be a different food truck (like Tasting Maine!) every day for lunch and dinner.

For those who don’t drink alcohol, they will have a large selection of hand-crafted sugar-cane sodas, and sugar-cane versions of your favorite commercial soft drinks.

But I have a feeling many people (including Scoop co-creator Michelle) will be excited to try their nitro coffee: lightly carbonated, cold-brewed coffee served through the same system as their draught beer. Those plans are being finalized, so we hope it works out!

Check out their Facebook page for updates as they proceed with their build out, or sign up for email updates using this link.

Truck & Tap is located at 8640 Main Street (in the former barbershop location) and opened fall 2015.
