Food Truck Feature: Field Dog Kitchen

Field Dog Kitchen

This Monday we’re launching Field Dog Kitchen, a brand new food truck stationed out of our partner culinary facility PREP.

Field Dog Kitchen is the latest project from acclaimed southern chef Kent Graham. A Chef, a farmer, a huntsman; Kent introduces diversity to classic southern offerings. With a heavy concentration on locally sourced and crafted foods, he uses naturally raised or grown ingredients to highlight the cornerstone of his culinary philosophy – “Keep it local; Keep it fresh; Keep it simple.”

Check out the menu he’s prepared for us for us for his debut this Monday January 18th.

Our mouths are watering over sweet tea brined fried chicken and shrimp & grits. Plus we hear his burger and fries will blow your mind.

Truck & Tap in Downtown Woodstock

Reposted from Southern Doorway, Rebecca Gaunt, October 22, 2015

I love a good food truck and I love a good craft beer. So when I heard about Truck & Tap opening in Downtown Woodstock, I knew I had to try it out. I had envisioned a mini-version of the Atlanta Food Truck Park on the edge of the charming downtown area, but it turned out to be nestled between two other shops on Main Street. The front and back exteriors have large rollup windows to give an outdoor feel to the indoor portion of the restaurant. Read more

Who says that the sequel isn’t ever as good as the original? In the case of Truck & Tap, my second (and third, and fourth, etc.) visit proved just as irresistible as the first. The thing about this establishment is that on any given day, it’s going to offer up something different than the day before. New craft beer selections and new truck equals NEW EXPERIENCE every single time. Read more

Woodstock’s Truck & Tap is an amazing new concept pairing the ultimate selection of craft beers (many of them local) with rotating food trucks throughout the week. On any given day, there’s certainly something for everyone. There’s picnic-style seating outdoors as well as a cool neighborhood pub- vibe indoors. They also feature three big screen TV’s if you’d like to grab a brew (or two) with friends and catch the latest sporting event. The location is also family-friendly, located just across from the Elm Street Green if you’d like to hit the food truck and spread a blanket in the park. Read more
